Someone hacked my ebay account and posted a listing for a Xbox live 12month membership for $35 in a high quantity. Upon reading my messages which were sent to my ebay account from buyers of this membership to the person who hacked my account. At first I thought this p.o.s. was just scamming people by selling them bogus Xbox live memberships. Some messages sent were asking for another code because the code they received was already used or was invalid. Then I noticed that the orders were being cancelled and buyers were asking what happened, why did you cancel my order? Then I read some messages from the hacker telling the buyers to go to www.PayPal.me/robsonj and instructs them not to click a link and some buyers even respond by saying that they didn't feel comfortable doing that because then their purchase wouldn't be protected. This hacker even gains the buyers trust by replying "I'm not some scummy scammer, just look at my 100%positive feedback from previous buyers. My positive feedback and if any buyers would have bothered to check the feedback they would have noticed that not a single positive feedback comment was related to any Xbox memberships and I never sold any. That's not the worst of it, upon reading a few more messages I come across one from a buyer of one of these Xbox memberships asking if they can please resend payment for their order because it was cancelled, they then go on to say that they are having some issues with PayPal and they think their paypal account wad hacked. After reading this a light bulb went off in my head and I realized that this hacker wasn't just ripping people off for the $35 they were spending on the bogus memberships but I BELEIVE that once someone buys the membership the hacker cancels the order, not sure why exactly, but then gets into the buyers paypal accounts through that link he gives. Also I had a person with the username: wac store purchases a GPS that I did have for sale but I never seen any message notifying me that my item sold. I didn't even notice until I went on my PayPal account and seen a positive sign and$ 37.50 from buyer El Malo (which means bad in Spanish). Then a red minus & $37.50 right after that that said refund issued but I didn't issue a refund. I think the hacker purchased it and then returned it because I'm not sure but I BELEIVE they need to do a return or cancellation and can gain access to the buyers paypal account after that. Please beware- $35 is way cheap for a 12month membership so if it sounds to good to be true then it probably is. Please be aware of this and if you yourself come across anything suspicious please contact ebay and PayPal.
