Paypal Working Capital Application Denied 1st time

I'm applying for the Paypal Working Capital Loan for the 1st time as the notification appeared on my account. I meet all the requirement and sales revenue.  After going through the application, I receive a "Sorry we cannot offer a loan at this time". Looking for strategies to gain acceptance as it seems like everyone on these forums are on multiple loans. I've only had 1 chargeback and 1 dispute due to nutjob customers, also a negative balance for a couple of days thanks to the dispute but all positive now.  Only the chargeback is active for a small amount. Do I need to resolve the case and reapply? Looking for ways to get accepted. Anyone feedback is appreciated

You wrote that on mine and 5 other posts. Do you even know a solution

Some of the other posts I've read over last year or so indicate that it is good to settle anything and everything.

My first applications were rejected in April 2017 due to 602 error (industry not acceptable). My business as a content provider (copywriter) has grown yearly since 2010 and I was able to hire new writers with my first PPWC loan. In July I got a letter that said something like "Some things have changed, try again" and I was approved on the first try for 15% of gross for the preceding 12 months.

As you've probably learned an algorithm determines eligibility and there is very little human intervention possible. You should receive a letter in the post for each failed application and sometimes that will tell you more. They don't list rejection codes anywhere that I have been able to find.

For those with 602 rejections, there's not much to be done. I would guess that when WebBank is flush and wants to move a lot of money in a hurry they might loosen those parameters and only exclude restricted and high-risk businesses. A search for "Business Loans: Restricted and High Risk Industries" should help those who are unsure if they will ever qualify.

Another "proven" element is that the business profile needs to match the industry category you are applying with. Profile> My business info> Business information > Update. Some reports say that you have to call PP, not WC, ask them to change it then wait 48 hours for the back end to update (front end can update in 24hrs) to apply again.

There wasn't really enough info in your post to know why you may have been denied other than a possible unsettled chargeback. Maybe others will find this info useful. Good luck! I'm waiting for a letter but try a couple of times a week for kicks as every day without expansion capital matters in my business.
