Amazon Digital Gift Card

I am trying to purchase an Amazon Gift Card with my PayPal Credit.  I am not anywhere close to the available balance so that is not the issue.  I have tried the For Me and the Gift option and I get through the process and then receive this message: Sorry, we can’t complete your purchase at this time Please return to the merchant and choose another way to pay. I click return to merchant and it just takes me back to the PayPal Digital Gift Card page.  Does anyone have any suggestions? Has anyone else had this problem?

I have the exact same problem as most of you here.  The difference is that I am trying to use my Paypal balance to buy the gift cards.

I needed $225 worth of amazon gift cards.  The first $100 was a snap.  Code emailed to me and it updated my Amazon balance directly with

no problem.  The second $100 gave me the error message.  So I tried $50, no joy!  I got the error message.  Then I tried $25 and that went through as

easily as the first $100.  So I am guessing Paypal has some bizarre hidden limit on accessing my own money!  I couldn't reach them by phone.  I'll try

again in a few days, but I think I am going to severally limit my use of Paypal.  It's not worth the hassles to access MY money.
