Cannot log into PayPal app for iPhone

 I'm trying to log into the PayPal app for iPhone and receivng the error message "We're having some trouble completing your request right now."  As such, I'm not able to get into the app at all.  I'm positive I'm entering the right username and password, and I've tried several times over the last hour.  I am able to login via a web browser without a problem.  Checking twitter, it seems other users are having issue as well.  When will this be resolved and is there anything I can do?

I have an iPhone 6 with iOS 9.3.2.

I'm having the same issue with the same error message on android. Yesterday it was a incorrect password error, now it's the same you have. My 4 digit pin doesn't work either. Can't find any info through twitter or PayPal social media either.

Same Issue, iPhone 6 SE, OS 9.3.2

Going on for about a week. Browser access works, ebay access works. PayPal App does not work.
