"GenericError" when trying to transfer money to bank

Hello everyone, I want to transfer money from my Paypal balance to my bank. When I do it, whether it's from the mobile app, website, desktop website it still says it. The mobile app just says "sorry we cannot do this right now". For a minute the red bell notification asked me to confirm my birthday and change my password and I did everything it asked and there are no disputes or anything in the resolution center. Not even the bell notification. Oh and the "genericerror" always displays at the top of the transfer page in red. I know I'm not limited because I did all those tasks and there is nothint at all to do in resolution center. Has anyone else had this issue? How did you fix it? Thank you very much! Would love some feedback.

Hi. I am facing the same issue. When I try to transfer money to bank, I get the generic error message.

The mobile app ended up letting me do it, however, i got the "72 hour review" message after transferring so I'm going to call tomorrow and try to clear that up. Hopefully.... Speed it up. Any luck for you?

This isn't temporary if we're having the same issue three days later.  Is anyone from Paypal reading this, or are we whistling in the wind?

Through the website, I get the "Generic Error".   I tried through the android app, and I got "Your transfer is delayed. For security reasons we need a bit more time to review this transaction.  This can take up to 24 hours, but we'll email you as soon as we have an update". 

This is some prime BS right here.  You know who doesn't have this problem?   Square's Cash app.  Good job paypal.  First time I've used you in years and you've turned me off your service for a few more.

Same, they just found a perfect execuse to hold money for an additional 24 hours and pocket the interest. Welcome to the world of gig economy/Uber when these greedy Silicon Valley spoiled kids can do anything to you without prior notice and **bleep** your life
