emailed moneys not in account

I was emailed $90 form a friend 7 days ago. I recived confirmation by email and the Transaction shows completed in my summary. Why has the money not been credited to my account?

[Quandary]

PayPal can hold funds up to 21 days if you have an "unverified" account.  (As we have no other details to work with that's one possible reason.)

I have 2 confirmed checking accounts and a confirmed credit card. I have used both 

checking accounts to send money to others.
