We rent out a place in Italy. We ask renters to wire transfer a security deposit.
We have a person asking to use paypall to transfer the deposit.
How does this work; especially in terms of disputes: We have had tenants literally destroying the place (bacherlor party of some sort), in this case the security deposit was kept by us. Needless to say, these kind of actions cause a lot of discussion.
How does this work in the case of paypall.
Assume the renter causes enough damage for us to withhold the security deposit; can the renter file a dispute via paypall (and all the trouble involved).
