Verified Bank Account, Can't use it?

Hi. I set up my Paypal account 2 days ago and went through the process of verifying everything ( email, phone, card etc). 

I completed the direct debit set up of my bank account and it now says 'ready to use' next to it on the 'wallet' page. 

However, i can't select it as an option for payment anywhere? its not even on the list at checkouts, only my card is. 

Anyone know what the problem might be?
