I created a developer account and used added passwords to both the default facilitator and buyer accounts.
I then created a button and copied the html into my browser on Tuesday morning.
I the clicked on the button and it redirected to PayPay as expected using the button ID and I paid for the item - all seemed fine.
The very first time I did this the 9999.00 balance correctly decremented to 9949.00 and the transaction detail showed up in the buyer account. It also showed correctly in the facilitator account. Still all seems good.
But I then tried with a email link and the 9949.00 balance correctly decremented to 9899.00 but the transaction detail did NOT show up in the buyer account.
I tried several more purchases via the form and the link and the balance always decremented properly but NONE of the transactions ever showed up in the buyer account.
I tried to delete the facilitator and buyer account to start over but the check box was greyed out - disabled. I think this is a separate issue or perhaps bug. Also there is a message in the profile for the facilitator about "We experienced some issues on our end while creating this Sandbox account. Please delete it and try again." But again yet another issue I think.
So I created a new PayPal account( today Wednesday) with a new email and created developer accounts for it and added a new button and added the button code both as a form and as a link with the same results - balance alway decremented but detail transactions never appeared in buyer account. Facilitator account works fine and shows the transactions.
Perhaps someone out there would be kind enough to create a facilitator and buyer develpment account and create a button for an item and try this both as a link and as a form button and see if they experience any of these issues:
1. Redirect to payPal is fine and purchase can be made but once finished viewing the buyer account reviles that the balance is decremented but the transaction detail does not show up.
2. The profile for the facilitator account showws this message: "We experienced some issues on our end while creating this Sandbox account. Please delete it and try again."
3. Cannot check the box next to either facilitor or buyer and delete the account.
