Payment pending questions

Hello, 

I used paypayl for the first time on March 10, 2018.  A client of mine sent me money through paypal for some goods that are not required to be shipped.  Paypal stated that the monies will be available in 21 days BUT I can get it sooner if I do one of the following....Mark it as shipped or Order processed.  I did as I was instructed and clicked order processed because I am not shipping any merchandise.  Then it stated that I will get the monies in 7 days since I clicked order processed.  This was all done on the 10th.  The account states that the money will be released on the 17th which is today.  I called paypal because I was curious if there is a certain time of the day that paypal release money to accounts.  The rep then proceeded to tell me that it will not be in my account until 21 days and that the release date that is on my account is only a default date and it is not the actual date.  Has anyone experienced this and what was your outcome? I am just worried because my client has called and asked if I have purchased the products to complete her centerpieces and I told her that I hadn't because I haven't received the money.  My name is on the line and not too happy with that.

Your buyer has PAID, any 'new seller hold' is between you and Paypal and should not affect her.

If you wait 21 days before sending buyers their items then you are going to start having disputes logged against you that will impact your account.

The wind not problem to this as I stated is that the product I provide is wedding decorations and I deliver myself to site. So there is nothing to ship. She has sent me the money to create the centerpieces. I can’t use her funds to buy the items I need to create these centerpieces because the money is being held by PayPal and it has been 7 days since I marked it ordered processed. I Received a message stating that the funds will be released on March 17, 2018 which is today. I called PayPal customer service and spoke to a rep and told me that the release date that my account has on file is a default date that is given to anybody as a default date. I didn’t tell the rep that if she can tell me when my funds will be released because if she’s telling me that PayPal uses a default date Bridget she is telling me that it’s not a true date which means the 21 days and seven days are not set in stone so I Astor when will I get my money into my phone so I can create the centerpieces from my client. She couldn’t answered my question so she decided to put me on hold I have now been on hold for over three hours after speaking to the rep PayP I didn’t tell the rep that if she can tell me when my funds will be released because if she’s telling me that PayPal uses a default date Bridget she is telling me that it’s not a true date which means the 21 days and seven days are not set in stone so I Astor when will I get my money into my phone so I can create the centerpieces from my client. So if with the rep told me is correct but these dates that PayPal put on accounts are Falls so what is she trying to tell me is that PayPal is a scammer? If so I will never use the service again and I will make sure that I would let people know what is customer service agent told me.
