Payment declined?

I'm trying to purchase something off a website, and I've been trying to do it for 2 days now, using my PayPal balance, but it keeps on getting declined...? I've tried and tried, but nothing works!

What back up funding sources do you have linked to your paypal account?

I have my credit card linked, I just want to use my paypal balance, and it seems that many people are having this problem right now.

Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > second down click on update next to your prefered way to pay and put a dot in the balance option.
