Pay After Delivery Not Available

I know this has been asked many times. But why doesn't pay after delivery show up as an option? I have searched and read many posts about this issue. But I haven't found a solid answer other than it only random shows up or whatever. My account is verified and linked to my bank account. I do have it set as my preferred payment option but I don't see it when I try to checkout on an ebay item. Anyways I'd rather not deal with customer service if it's just going to be a hassle, so hopefully someone can help me out here. This is what I did. I delete all my acounts from my PP for a week and upload them again and pay after delivery apears rigth there!. Plus ccheck on ebay your shiping address because if you have a single space,letter or a mini diferance than the one on PP this option may appear but not work. So I change a(L) for (lane) and automatically works!!!!! And yes!! Even though when you have the option set on your accounts not always work,I guess is just for random transactions. That's why I upgrade to PP credict and always work.

Is there any way I can find out if a specific item offers pay after delivary before i bid or use the buy it now option

Add it to your cart and go through checkout but you can only do one item at a time

Two weeks ago, I chose "Pay after Delivery" at PayPal and began shopping on Ebay.  Yes, my accounts are linked, yes I have more than enough money to cover the purchases, yes, the monies have begun to be deducted from my account as scheduled and I've been receiving my purchases promptly.

So what is the problem?  Suddenly, I'm no longer able to 'use' this function.  It does not show up at time of purchase for anything - I've tested it for items from $1.00 to $45.00 and no - I've not just tested it a few times, I've tested it on over a dozen items.  Last week, this 'feature' showed up on every single item I investigated under the 'Buy it Now' option.

My account is solvent - items are being paid for - but suddenly this 'useful' feature has vanished into thin air?

Where's the convenience in this?

Personally, I don't believe anyone here has a valid answer.  My gut feeling is there's a 'bug' in the system somewhere and developers are scrambling to figure out/use customers/sellers as guinea pigs to see how this highly touted 'convenience' feature works - then it is suddenly withdrawn with absolutely no explanation.  

Yes, this is a 'venting' 'rant' on the frustration of seeing yet another business offer some new 'technological' advancement that does not work.  This is not about not having enough money in my bank - it is about my testing this 'newfangled' goodie.

I had the same problem,then I delete all my acounts for 2 weeks and I didn't made any kind transaction.Later I add them back . And bualaa!!!it works plus they autorise me a 300.00 credict line.

I am having the same problem and I have been told by customer service that there is a list of items eligible, but no one has the list and that vendors have to approve the payment method.  Why would they object, they are paid immediately.  It is a great benefit to buyers and sellers and I was using it all the time until a few days ago  I am sad that there is no answer and that I no longer have that option.  I am sure their sales will decrease.  I know I bought a lot more things with the option.

That's a lie. No such list exist. When you call pp ask for a finance especialist. Personaly they told me a better solution. Last time I can't use pay after delivery. ,I try to acces from a diferent device (tablet)and it works!

I THINK I HAVE FIGURED IT OUT!!!! I had the same problem. I always have used pay after delivery and today this option was not available. Another user suggested that I check my address and capitalize and make sure the spacing was correct because sometimes the system is picky. I did this and noticed my name was all lower case so I chaged the lower case s to upper case S for my first name and did the same for my last. I went back to complete my purchase and the Pay After Delivery option was available.

When i previously tried to check out before making this change i had entered a promo code from Ebay for $10 off $50 purchases made in home & garden and the fashion catagory.Ok, since the option was available now, I left it up out of fear that if I backed out I would lose the option again. So i went to the EBAY app on my phone and tried to make the purchase and the option was there again. I backed out and entered the promo code from ebay and ebay deducted $10 off of my purchase but the pay after delivery option was gone. I backed out of the transction and went back in (still using my phone) to pay without using the coupon code and the option was there again. I logged out of the Ebay app from my phone and went back to my laptop and completed the purchase using pay after delivery but not being able to apply the coupon code. Apparently since ebay and paypal seperated they will not give you an option to use ebay coupons with pay after delivery. This purchase was made in home in garden and it was a purchase I was going to make soon but have been putting it off because it was around $200. When I got my coupon from ebay, i went in to check to see if the item I needed was on sale and it was on sale for $168. I thought since I hade the $10 off and had a time limit to use it that I would go ahead and make this purchase to save money. If I had of know that I couldnt have used this promo code, I would have waited to purchase. I am a sucker for sales. Anyhoo, Hope this helps.

I'm having trouble with pay after delivery. I tried to use it on everything I buy on eBay except China cuz I know it won't work on China, but in the past it's worked perfectly fine anywhere from the United States. I never had a problem with it until now. Could you please help figure what's going on? Thank u.

Hi, can you tell me where I will find out if I am eligible for pay after delivery?  I have looked through my profile and can't find it anywhere.
