Overdraft bank fees due to PayPal error

I had my bank account information stolen about a month ago, which resulted in having to close the one on my PayPal account and also open a new one. I'm a nanny, so I'm paid through PayPal. I called on May 11 to have the representative add my bank account because I couldn't do it from my end - the website said it needed to verify my account, but I'd gotten a new number since opening my PayPal account so the one I was entering didn't match the one associated with my PayPal account. She adds it, so I transfer my money. 6 days later I get an email saying the bank refused it and it's back in my PayPal account. So I call again, they do the same thing, same outcome -it doesn't transfer and I still can't add my bank account from my end. So finally I call back on Friday June 2, after three weeks of not being able to access my funds, the guy figured out a way that finally gave me access to my account to add my bank account myself. So I did, and it finally went through. I called today to find out what the issue had been to find out that a representative at PayPal entered my bank account information wrong not once, but TWICE. The problem, not having access to my funds resulted in $216 worth of overdraft fees. When calling PayPal to dispute this matter, I was told to not spend money I don't have....except, I have money, PayPal just couldn't give me access to it. So now I'm paying for their mistake. They gave me $50 and said there was nothing else they could do for me but I think that's terrible customer service and as a company, unacceptable. Has anyone ever had problems like this? This is almost a MONTH of not being able to receive any of my funds because representatives from PayPal couldn't figure out how I could get into my account and kept entering my bank account information wrong. I get the overdrafts not being their responsibility, but they were a result of them making a mistake. I have bills to pay and need immediate access to my money. What good is PayPal if I don't have that?
