Hi everyone,
During checkout I want to use my bank exchange rate rather than Paypal's.
I used to be able to do that but since by my debit card was renewed a few weeks ago, the option is not there anymore.
I've contacted Paypal several times about it but they act like the option is still there.
Of course the present situation is good for them and bad for me.
What can I do?

I've been struggling with this for the last hour, and found the solution:
- Main page (My account - Overview)
- Click on Profile
- My Money
- Under My Preapproved Payments, Update
- Set Available Funding Sources
- Conversion Options
- Bill me in the currency listed on the seller's invoice.
- Submit and Save changes
You should get a confirmation that you've successfuly updated your available funding sources.
If you can't find that, there is also a way to change it if you've done previous payments.
- Main page (My account - Overview)
- My Recent Activity (or Payments sent, if nothing recent)
- Look at recent purchase, click on Details
- Scroll down, select Edit Funding Sources
- At the one you use, find Edit Available Funding Sources
- Conversion Options
- Bill me in the currency listed on the seller's invoice.
- Submit and Save changes
Hope this helps!

I have the same problem and none of the solution suggested work. I've linked my bank account to PayPal and the option to "edit funding sources" does not appear on any screen nor does "conversion options". I can only set it as a Primary funding account with no other options. None. This is very disappointing. I've been a happy PayPal customer for years. Maybe it's time I use my personal credit card instead and just close my account.

I've been searching for a solution to this problem that appeared some half year ago. This method was working before but NOT anymore. Even if
- Bill me in the currency listed on the seller's invoice.'' option is marked every new invoice has payment already converted by PayPal with the option below - ''Choose another conversion option''!

IMPORTANT!
I just discovered you need to make the same change to any new credit card / bank account you add. The settings for this arent global - the default is always PayPal's conversion.
PS: double-posted since I couldn't find a way to edit

I have the same exact problem, but then I went through and clicked "Submit and Pay" thinking the option would appear in the next page. Can Paypal retract the payment and charge me in the sellers currency if I send them a complaint email? Has anyone done this?
