Is anyone else having "security" issues with their instant transfers? Even if it's not a scam to hold onto your money, it across as though it is a scam.
About a month ago the bank changed my debit card number due to a data breach issue with a retailer I've used... same bank/different number. I assumed that was the problem.
Two weeks ago, Paypal held up my first instant transfer due to a "security issue." I assume they had a problem with my new number even though they verified it when I added it. Okay... I didn't like the money being held for 24-hours but my card was new (which shouldn't matter since they verfied it).
I tried an instant transfer again today, thinking they had cleared up any issues the last time; but they held it again due to a "security issue" this time for the amount of money I tried to transfer. I've had a Paypal account for at least 10 years. They have no reason to hold up my transfers so I'm not convinced they're doing it for my "security."
Is anyone else having this "security issue"?
