Funds not credited to balance

I have two refunded transactions since June of 2017 that have never been credited to my account. When I look online at activity, I see the credits (appear in green) of $20.00 (June 1) and 12.99 (Aug 2), but neither has been credited to my account as of today.

When I purchase online and try to use paypal, I see a box for "Use paypay balance" but can't also use another form of payment for the remainder—some sites don’t accept two forms of payment.  So, I can never use the balance and it is not being simply credited to my account, like any other credit card type of account. So, there's $32.99 in my account I can't access.

How your money is refunded depends on how you made the original payment.

* If you paid with a credit card, the money is refunded to your card.
* If the card you paid with is closed or invalid, the money will still be refunded to your credit card account.
* If you paid with your bank or PayPal account balance, the money is refunded to your PayPal account. After you have received the refund, you can withdraw money from your PayPal balance to your bank account.
* If you paid using a credit card and your PayPal account balance, the amount paid by credit card is refunded to your card. The remaining amount is refunded to your PayPal account.
* If you paid using PayPal Credit, the amount is refunded to your PayPal Credit account.
* If you paid with a debit card, the amount is refunded to your debit card.  If the refund cannot be applied to your debit card, it will be applied to your PayPal balance.

Refunds to credit or debit cards can take up to 30 days depending on the card company involved.

To answer your items:

* If you paid with a credit card, the money is refunded to your card. The original payments were simply Pay Pal--I was never aware of a separate paypal credit card nor have I received separate statements from such.

* If the card you paid with is closed or invalid, the money will still be refunded to your credit card account. –this should not have been the problem, as I  never used invalid cards.

* If you paid with your bank or PayPal account balance, the money is refunded to your PayPal account. After you have received the refund, you can withdraw money from your PayPal balance to your bank account. My account online (PayPal wallet ?) says I have only $16.01 when my “activity" says I should have  $32.99?

* If you paid using a credit card and your PayPal account balance, the amount paid by credit card is refunded to your card. The remaining amount is refunded to your PayPal account. I was never aware of a separate paypal credit card. I get only one statement.

* If you paid using PayPal Credit, the amount is refunded to your PayPal Credit account. I see the credits (appear in green) of $20.00 (June 1) and 12.99 (Aug 2) and my account online (PayPal wallet ?) says I have only $16.01 when my “activity says I should have  $32.99?

* If you paid with a debit card, the amount is refunded to your debit card.  If the refund cannot be applied to your debit card, it will be applied to your PayPal balance. I have never used a debit card with PayPal.
