I got an email saying 69p was taken by Google Play. I have 2 factor authentication turned on so was a bit confused. It turns out it was my son buying poker chips when he thought he was paying with his Google Rewards. Anyway, I went to the pre-authorised section of my account and found google play, along with a load of other pre-authorised sites.
None of which, apart from Spotify when I set up a recurring payment, have I ever had them ask me to authorise pre-approval.
Have I missed something, or can any company set up pre-approval without me first approving this? Seems a bit of a back door into access an account. And is there a way to cancel all future pre-approvals?
