I sold an item on ebay and it shows that the payment has been initiated but when I click on the "View transaction" link on my ebay account I get a paypal message that says "the transaction ID in the link is invalid". When I log in to paypal it does not show the payment at all. Has anyone had this happen before?
exact same thing happened to me, but for six items - extremely frustrating. every one of them has an 'invalid id' when I click on view transaction details.
I have customers contacting me who have submitted their payment and seen it go through, but I can't ship their item and my reputation is at risk.
it keeps saying my transaction id is invalid as well.has anyone got an answer.i will be calling them and i will post to let you know what they say about this
Same exact thing happening to me...the only change i have made recently is my primary email address on my paypal account...Maybe I need to match them on paypal and ebay and see what happens then? Im gonna try it
I have had the same thing happen to me as well. Ebay says that my payment is still being processed through Paypal but when I click the Ebay link that states view Paypal transaction the Paypal site says the transaction Id is invalid and no payment information is shown on my Paypal account. How can this be fixed? Seller of course will not ship until payment process is complete. I can't cancel that process and try paying again. What is the problem?
