Payment/Donations Withheld (Pending Status)

I recently used paypal for a donation campaign for a cause. Problem is people who donated are a mix of non-Paypal registrants, new Paylpal users, and verified Paypal Users.

For some reason, Paypal is withholding money from all 3 types of users. I've followed FAQ suggestions of tagging orders as "order processed" but nothing. I also tried to follow a FAQ that says you can just claim payments from unconfirmed addresses in the notification e-mail Paypal sends you but there was no instruction in the email on how to do so.

However go to paypal help top right of page and put in funds availability and it should tell you there.

Yes, I see it now. Quick question if you might know the answer, is Paypal able to distinguish donations from actual payments for product/services.

Because I have tagged all donations as "order processed" but I'm not entirely sure how Paypal can verify these donations unless they email my donors, to which they haven't according to feedback from donors.
