I sold an item about 7 days ago, I got a positive and yet I have to wait till the 23rd to receive the money which I need for thursday.
What's the point of that? What if somebody needs the money asap like me? I may get thrown out of my flat cause of that, it's hard to be a student. Never using Paypal again.

Your pending balance helps ensure there is money in your account in case problems arise with any of your transactions. The money still belongs to you. It’s just temporarily not available to use, until your buyer has received the item they ordered in the condition promised.
