Bank transfers made on Saturday….

I received a payment to my PayPal account on Saturday. I immediately had the funds sent to my bank/checking account. Lucky for me, every time I send funds from my PayPal account to my checking/bank account, it happens overnight. But this payment was recieved on Saturday and the funds were sent to my bank on Saturday. Will the funds be available to me on Sunday...or will I have to wait until Monday? Thanks!

IMHO....I believe that in today's day in age where the net is up and running 24/7....both on-line services from both our banks and from PayPal should be up and running 24/7....the the Federal Reserve Bank, the European Central Bank, etc. I think this chage in practice will not only make the world turn easier, but will also provide more jobs. BUT....banks would rather not hire more people, slow things down so they hold your money for as long as they can so they can accumulate a few more pennies in interest....kinda silly. The tech is there, they just have to put 2+2 together. Soon....
