Will payment to Netflix still go through if Bank Account still not verified?

I just changed bank accounts and added my new information so that my recurring payment to Netflix will go through tomorrow. After doing so, I was watching for the 2 small transactions in my bank account to appear and when they didn't, I called customer service. They said to just add my debit card since the bank account verification takes up to 5 days. I just tried and it only gives me credit card options despite saying "debit" or credit card (which I don't have.)

Will my payment still go through an unverified bank account?

That's a good question. A bank account must be verified before it will be available as a funding source on a PayPal account. Bank account verification takes around 2-4 business days.
