Unable to link bank account

Hi I have been using paypal for many years, & housing a debit card for purchases, however I sold something on eBay & when trying to withdraw to my bank I keep getting this message We're sorry but that bank account can't be linked to any more accounts. Really frustrated!

Have you ever had another paypal account that your bank account was linked to? Even one that is now closed?

Are you trying to add your actual bank account and not a card?

Hi thanks for your reply, my card has been linked & used for ages, it's not letting me add the bank account that the card is linked to.

Thanks for your reply I think I may have had another account, but can't remember any details to check or find a way to un- link if I did

OK then the only way you can sort it is to contact customer services and see if they can help you locate your old account and remove the bank account to add to your new account.

Click on contact in your paypal account and phone them

OR have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
