Payments refused by PayPal

I'm posting this here in the hope that someone will be able to shed some light on this problem. This is my first time attempting to resolve a problem with PayPal, I had no idea they would be so unwilling to provide direct customer support.

I have a business account with PayPal which I opened in early 2012. I successfully linked my bank account with a MasterCard and was able to process transactions without any problems until about three weeks ago. My MasterCard had expired, I added the replacement card to my PayPal account, (I should point out that all my transactions go through the card rather than the bank account and that there is no problem with the available funds on the card). As of three weeks ago, PayPal refuses to allow me to charge more than one or two transactions per day to my account. I can't see any messages from PP or any changes that need to be made to the account settings. Obviously no one will pick up the phone so I'm stuck, unable to process transactions. Any suggestions from the PayPal massive would be gratefully received.

Regards

Judy

Does your account have any limits?  You should see a link for that on your account overview screen.
