Difference between Refunded and Completed

Hello,

I booked a ticket on Eurail and got it exchanged later. They refunded me the original amount. The payment status showed type refund and status completed and I got the money on my paypal account.

I used paypal to buy a ticket on Deutsche Bahn and cancelled that. But the payment status was type - payment, status - refunded. And then, type - refund and status - completed. But the money doesn't add up to the account balance.

Why haven't I gotten this amount added to my paypal account?

Don't forget that if you have money in your paypal balance and then you buy something, paypal will take that payment from your paypal balance as that is the default payment source.

So click on the word "details" by any recent transactions and see if it was funded by your paypal balance ie refund.
