Shipping not being charged nor shipping method displayed

I have started having problems with our shipping method not being displayed and also  Paypal sometimes will not charge any shipping, despite having everything set up correctly. I have not changed anything in my shipping calculations or methods and it just out of the blue started saying in the shipping details that "You haven’t added any shipping details." This is despite my having everything set up correctly for shipping. Then the next order it will correctly state 'Standard Shipping.'

There is no rhyme or reason to it and now I just had an international order come thru where Paypal did not charge a cent for shipping! This is costing us money as it's not the customers fault they weren't charged. Is anyone else experiencing these issues?? It apparently is a glitch in the Paypal system that needs to be fixed. I have even gone in and resaved my shipping calculations and settings but it still goes back and forth on what it displays in the shipping details and if it charges the correct amounts or not. Help!

I'm having this same issue again.  One today and one yesterday.  No help at all from support.  Had several come in this way in the past few weeks.

FYI. This has all been fixed for me. I had issues the first week it was reported, none of my orders included shipping, but after that first week, all orders have come through with shipping.

I am using Homestead for my website and use only PP buttons for all my payment processing. I was packaging an order today and realized that there wasn't any shipping charged on the order dated 10/24. So if they have fixed the problem it would have had to been since then. Most of my customers come from/through Google. I usually look at my site through FireFox.

 

I hate how my customers can't see the price of shipping in the cart anymore with this new shopping cart. I will call PP tomorrow and pass along anything they suggest/tell me. I will also subscribe to this feed in case anyone has any suggestions/updates.

 

Do I need to copy and paste my buttons onto my site again from the PayPal buttons pages of PayPal? All of them are in html.

 

Shipping that order cost me $6.60... that meant there was no profit on that sale b/c we already price our sales close to cost. PayPal needs to fix this immediately. I can't do business like this.
