How do I send people to the correct paypal account?

I created a website and initially added my paypal me link for people to purchase tickets to a fundraising event. I changed my paypal to a business account and wanted people to pay the business account instead, however when I add the button I created in paypal to the website, it shows up fine when I view it, but once I publish it the button is gone and all that's left is text. Is there a way for me to do something similar to the paypal me link, but to the business account instead?

Yes, this what you need to know.

Some web sites require that you use the text link version or URL of the item button code as they won't accept forms which is what a PayPal button actually is.   What you need is the text link version or URL of the item button code     (Note: PayPal.ME basically uses text links or URLs, that's why it worked.)

Assuming you have a Business account.  Below is an example of a Buy Now button text link or email link.  You can make an Add to Cart however, you can't include any options like drop down seletions or multiple prices.

* Login to your account.
* Select on Tools.
* Click on All Tools.
* Click on PayPal Buttons.
* Choose the Button type you want to make.
* For example:  Buy Now.
* Click on Select Button.
* Enter the info you need.
* In step 2 you have the option to save the code at PayPal or not.
* When finished with all the details.
* Click Create Button.
* On the next screen you will see the generated code.
* Click on the Email tab - that will display the code you need.
* Click on Select Code - then copy and paste the code in your email or document.
* Done.

Note, the "Email" tab will not be available if have included dropdown selections or text boxes in your item button code.   This is because you cannot include dropdown selections or text boxes in a Text or Hyperlink.
