Cannot add email address to my account?

Hello! I'm trying to add my shopify email to paypal because that's what I need to do according to shopify.

However, when I try to add the email to my existing paypal account, I get the following message:

"That email address isn't available. Do you want to add another one?"

What gives? Thank you for your support!

Yea, I'm having the same issue.  Working on getting my Shopify site up and running, did a test purchase.  Now need to add my shopify email to my business account I already have and it says the email address isn't available.  Not possible as I just set the domain and website up.
