Can I send a message to the buyer without return URL?

Hi,

I have a Wordpress application. People fill the form and then redirected to PayPal. Once payment is made they are redirected back to my site. After that they receive a message.

Message is sent only when they visited my return URL. Somethimes it takes about 15 seconds and people leave the site. So the message is not send.

My question: is it possible to send a message automatically after payment is made and no need to wait or use return URL?
