Trouble Adding Discount Variable to a Button

Hi. I am having a lot of trouble with this. I am trying to create a BOGO discount for my product using an add to cart button, but I can't seem to get the discount to save. I checked the advanced variables box and entered the code, but when I test it, the code doesn't work. When I look back at the button, it hasn't even saved. Paypal is logging me out automatically very quickly as well.

I am running this through my website, hosted by WordPress, so I have to use the email link and not the button code, so I can't just edit the code. WordPress won't read the code, only the email link (unless someone knows how to bypass that in a WordPress.com site).

Does anyone know how I can resolve this issue? I tried contacting Paypal but it got me nowhere and this sale is supposed to start at midnight. I've been fighting with it since yesterday! I have tried all of these combinations of the code:

discount_amount2:14.99

discount_amount:0.00

discount_amount2:14.99

discount_amount:00.00

discount_amount2:14.99

discount_num1

Any help would be appreciated. I'm near panic that I won't get this resolved and I have a big ad campaign running this!
