Recieving money with an unconfirmed account

I recently sold an item on ebay and the buyer has stated that they will pay on Wednesday. I just created created my acount and put in my bank and details and it is saying it will take 3-5 days to confirm. If they send the money on Wednesday will I recieve it once the account is confirmed?

Hi brendan_61,

You do not need to confirm your bank account prior to receiving payments.  You can receive payments as soon as you've opened your PayPal account and confirmed your email address.
