I would like to use the PayPal app to send an invoice and then immediaely collect payment using PayPal Here. So far I haven't been able to figure out how to do that. Is it even possible? Collecting a payment with PayPal Here doesn't appear to have any option to connect the payment to a specific invoice.
Assuming you have the latest version of PayPal Here, you have to first create the invoice via you PayPal Account, unfortunately you can't generate or create the invoice using the App. Once you have the invoice created, you can then use the App to send it and get paid. You can find the previously created invoice in the App by logging in first, then touch the Settings Icon, next touch the Sales Activity Icon, next you can locate the invoice in Sales History, it would show up under the Saved tab.
Yes, but if you pull the invoice up through the saved transactions in the mobile app then try to take payment it doesn't work. It always give an error about "unable to process payment" and declines. However if you take and then recreate the same thing, it goes through. I've tested this on four devices and it's always the same.
Come on PayPal, if you're going to put something in the app, at least test it once to see if it works. Because this never has, and it's downright shameful.
