I have a site which has had working button code on two of its pages for some months. The price options now need to be changed for one of the buttons. At PayPal I created a new button similar to the original and then changed the price options.
When I pasted the new button code in place of the old in the WordPress page and clicked Update, I got a 404 error and the update was not performed.
I tried deactivating all WordPress plugins without effect. I changed to a different theme without effect. My only idea is that an update of the WordPress code may have changed things, but I have no way to deal with that.
