The misinformation policy update was rescinded after the firestorm. However, many don't realize PayPal's policies (and thus potential $2500 "fine") still include a clause specifying the "promotion of hate, violence, racial or other forms of intolerance" as a violation. The intolerance terms are defined at the sole discretion of PayPal. See Paragraph 2. https://www.paypal.com/cd/webapps/mpp/ua/acceptableuse-full

The there are some things Paypal cannot do argument is incorrect. It is their business they can intervene in the process or they are just incompetent. In any case they have now debit my Bank account and received the money yet its still in Pending. Again they refuse to process. Their statement we are here to help is a nonsense as they only ever quote "we cant do anything. When I asked the supervisor about that he said "Its my job to educate you" the arrogant fool. He then claimed Paypal are not a Financial institution ?? They are one of the worlds largest. Some investigation also revealed this "Also, the Financial Ombudsman Service position is that section 75 protection does not apply where PayPal or any eMoney service becomes involved in the credit card transaction. This leaves consumers with no recourse to pursue their complaint with the Financial Ombudsman Service. They only have recourse with the courts". So watch it people Paypal are a major financial institution that dodges any obligation to follow any rules by sleight of hand. They exist ONLY because they "handle" volume of transactions whilst it suits them . If push comes to shove you have no chance.- Im returning to Bank transfer Im sick of Paypals blase attitude and Currency exchange rorts.
