Thank you @PayPal_Olivia for the response. I tried to contact support via messaging and got a strange response (saying the decision is final and no reason will be told why). I had someone call for me, as I do not speak German. The support person had me submit identification documents and said I would hear back in 3-5 days. It has been a week. I will try to call again today. It seems quite unbelievable that someone who uses Paypal for only online purchases would have such a closure. I do not conduct business here, it doesn't seem that someone else has used my account, I literally make Zalando purchases. I understand that it would be unrealistic to always say why an account is closed, but I just can't imagine what reason would be given to me.
