I paid for an item online using PayPal. I never received an email confirmation of the order (red flag #1). A few days later, I receive an email from PayPal with tracking information. I copy and paste the tracking info USPS tracking search and it shows delivered the same day I received tracking info. The item was shipping from over seas, (Red flag #2) there’s no way it could’ve gotten here so quickly. I contact USPS, they can’t give the addressee’s name but confirmed that I WAS NOT the recipient and it was not addressed to me. I filed a dispute with PayPal explaining this and they still sided with the seller because they provided a legit tracking number even though it was not a tracking number belonging to any package they sent to me or to anyone else. They simply stole a tracking number for a package that was delivered to my same city state and zip. How do I get this corrected?? I haven’t called PayPal yet, but I feel they’re not going to give me the time or day.
