Hi Guys, Hope you can help . We are a small business with an impeccable track record in the creative glass world for 18 Years and this is the first time we have ever had a problem like this. We are great uses of PayPal as our record shows with no complaints against us ever. Just recently we received a case number from PayPal showing an email from our customer who has requested a full refund over $ 600 for goods they say were not as described. We have bent over backward for this customer, sent them free samples and who, by the way have USED THE GOODS, some of which are tools to create a product and also MELTED the GLASS RODS we provided to make the product. So they are requesting a full refund for goods that have been already converted into something else. Before they ordered the product we sent them step by step procedures, 9 pages of instructions and measurements to make this particular product. Suddenly they decided that the product is not as described and lodged a case against us with PayPal, when in actual fact the tools can be viewed on our website. We also emailed them a LARGE DETAILED PHOTO before we sent the goods . These tools are high quality and manufactured in the U.S.A. for over 20 years, brilliantly engineered and have been sold to numerous artists in the American market since it’s invention in 1998! So this item has credibility from a huge market already. They told PayPal we took a long time to reply to their email. ,,,Actually their email was received last Friday and we replied Monday (yesterday)...because we don't work weekends.. to give them assistance as to what to do.....so NOT true, there as well. Please tell me (as I am certainly missing something here) how can a refund claim be made , when they have used the tools and melted the glass to create a piece of art and then want their money back. ...Bear with me , this is like a painter using all the paints in a tube and wanting to send the tubes of paint back because the painter was not happy with the painting he produced....do you catch my drift? The claim that goods were not as described is a big woppa and not at all true and I don't want goods returned unless they are in the weight and condition that they were sent out. Unfortunately PayPal Resolutions box did not have enough room to explain all this either so they cannot make a balanced decision without all the facts. I have not heard back from PayPal on this case as yet. Now ...let me know your kind thoughts. With thanks.
