cannot add bankcard / account

i've wanted to link my bankaccount to my paypal account, but whenever i do that i get an error message of the following: Our apologies. We cannot process your request at this time. Try again later. this is happening now for +1 year. does anyone have a sollution? thank you in advance!

Which are you adding bank account OR debit card?

I'm sorry to hear you've had difficulty linking a bank account. Please be informed that some bank accounts and cards are not compatible with PayPal's System. Based on what you mentioned in your post, it sounds like you may need to try linking a different bank account and/or card. You can only add a traditional bank to your PayPal account as a virtual bank aren't compatible. You may even contact your financial institution to know if they have any issues on their end.

I used to have a bank account that was properly linked, but because I didn't have enough balance on it, so it was deleted from my PayPal. I can no longer link this account, it was a Rabobank account.

t about a bank that has been for years and now is not working? Which my bank card from the same bank is still attached, just not my bank account.

I'm sorry to hear you're unable to use a bank account that was previously linked to your PayPal. If the bank account no longer shows under your Wallet, it might have been removed/disabled. You can try adding and confirming it again, but if you receive a message to contact Customer Support, you won't be able to re-add it without assistance. Now, if it does show under your Wallet but not when making a payment, you're likely running into our Security System. The Security System can limit available payment methods based on potential risk.
