VISA card already registered on another user

Hello! I have not been using PayPal for a long time, and i thought it was time to update my card details. When trying to registar a new VISA card, I got the following message: "Your card is linked to another PayPal account. Please remove the card from the other account or try a different payment method". Does this mean there is someone out there using my card on their PayPal? I have not noticed any unauthorized withdrawals from my bankaccount. What do I do now?

Try unlinking and then linking it again. Or check if you link to another PayPal account that belongs to you

Hello! Thanks for the reply, but this did not really tell me anything. The card has never before been registered/linked by me. How do I unlink something that is not linked? This is my one and only PayPal accunt, and there for I have not registered the VISA card elsewhere. Any other ideas?
