I cannot add indian bank account to my paypal,please can someone reply to this query?

Why i cannot link an indian bank account to my paypal,there is only option to add US account in the setting.

The option to link a local bank account is not available in every country however you can add a U.S bank account (not card) to 'most' other countries paypal accounts. This is because paypal is a U.S company and so allows this.

So i can close my existing account and create a new account from the country of origin,after it is possible to add local account or not?
