Connecting a new bank account - why doesn`t Paypal connect to GLS-Bank?

I cannot connect my GLS-Account to Paypal. Neither via desktop-App nor via Smartphone. The Bank is not listet, so I tried it with my IBAN. But here Paypal say "this source of payment is marked defective at the moment.

 Not all local banks are accepted on PayPal. If your bank is not listed, it may not be compatible with PayPal, and you will need to use an alternative funding source.

Hi Siobhan,

my bank tells me that they work with Paypal. I think i will have to get personal help in the Paypal-Help Center for this specific need.

Hi, looks like your bank is a virtual / online bank that paypal do not support.

If its not on the list then it is not supported.

Also the paypal moderator that replied is a senior paypal staff member unlike 'us' that are volunteers.
