Me too! Initially Playstore said that my paypal account was no longer linked so I removed that... Checked on Paypal account and google no longer there.. Had hoped (after umpteen times of doing it) that I could add Paypal as a means of payment on Google Play store (android) - despite all the verifications sms etc, I still got an error message and still can't add Paypal as a payment method on Google Playstore! The error message says in effect that the requested url (to paypal.com) was not found (despite getting lots of verification codes to the contrary)
If Paypal is no longer accepted by googleplay it would be nice to know but I'd prefer to use that than provide Google with my credit card details directly!
