Can’t pay back negative balance

I’m trying to add funds to get rid of a negative balance, its asking for 13.48 AUD but whenever I go to add funds and put 13.48 AUD it just comes up with ‘There seems to be a problem, We can’t complete this transaction right now’. I really need this resolved because twice I’ve received a ‘DE DISFEE’ without even realising I was in negative, since paypal decided to just spend money for me or something without informing or asking me and now wants it back

Paypal can't process funds you don't authorise so check if you had a subscription set up?

Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > "manage pre-approved payments.''

Secondly if you had a failed bank transfer that caused the negative balance then paypal often stop you from using your bank account as a funding source so it does not happen again and force you to use a card instead.

Ways to clear a negative balance.

1. Transfer funds from your bank account via the add funds function...sometimes disabled if it was a failed bank transfer.

2. The quickest and easiest way is to get a mate or family member to send a payment via the friends / family option. As long as they don't fund it with a card it should be free.

3. Via a card over the phone with paypal.

4. Buy something and Paypal will normally add the debt to that payment during checkout when you authorise the purchase.
