I've Been with Ebay & PayPal 20+ years @ 100% positive. Also sponsor an in person market last 7 years. Never a problem. This year after in person show weekend, PP is holding 80% of my funds for 21 days. I cannot input tracking, they purchased in person. I also cannot have them say they received, this was 50+ people in person this past weekend. I sell regularly on Ebay, with never a problem. I called and spoke with 2 different people, including supervisor (even cried I was so upset over this).Even with track record of same uplift in sales same weekend for last 7 years as well as 100% positive Ebay since 1999, I have to wait for 21 days. So wrong. I will never use for in person sales again.   Has anyone else run into this?   We didn't have the show last year due to Covid but for 6 years prior to that, never a problem and money was in account with day or 2.

With payments received for tangible goods Paypal would request valid tracking information confirming the item has been delivered to the buyer. They can validate the tracking information online, so once it is delivered they can release the funds. IF you have received the funds for a service / virtual or digital sale or no tracking number is applicable Paypal would be unable to release the funds any sooner than 21 days.

However If you mark the transaction as processed then the buyer or sender may have the option on their account to mark the transaction as delivery/satisfied. If the buyer or sender confirms this by clicking on the "Confirm Receipt" button, funds may be released sooner ie 7 days after the buyer or sender verifies receipt. This is not always available or guaranteed.
If not then sadly its 21 days.
