Refund back money on hold to sender

Hello, yesterday a friend sent me money which he did as business transaction rather than the usual account money, the payment is on hold until 15th but I would wish to refund the money how do I do it?

You would have to fund it via your linked bank account or card and then wait for the pending payment to clear before being reimbursed.

However your paypal fee is not reimbursed as part of any refund that you issue unfortunately.
