Is there a solution to the [OR-HDT-04] recurring error? (pre-paid card)

Hi!

I'm trying to renew my membership on Youtube, and keep getting the same errors:

• Sorry, we weren't able to authorize your card. Please choose another way to pay.
• Payment declined. Your purchase could not be completed due to an issue with your PayPal account. Please contact PayPal Customer Service for more information or choose a different payment method. [OR-HDT-04]

I have my prepaid Mastercard linked to Paypal to pay for my subscriptions (YT, Spotify...) for a year now, and never had a problem like this one. I managed to fix the issue with Spotify, but the problem persists with YT. Is there any way to fix this?

Welcome to the PayPal Community! I'm sorry to hear you're running into some issues renewing that subscription. I would recommend trying a different card other than a prepaid card to renew a subscription. You may have more luck that way.
