Hi there, I’m trying to buy a doll from an artist. She sent me her email address for sending the money. She didn’t issue any invoice and it is outside any platform(like eBay etc).Is it safe to send her the payment ?

A seller can receive payment via email / mobile number / invoice or money request.
The important thing is to read up on Paypals buyer protection policy first so you can risk assess your transaction.
Also make sure you send the funds using the goods/services option and NOT friends/family.
Its always better to request and invoice or money request so that the seller can fully described the item that you are buying so if they don't make sure you add a full description of the item you are expecting in the comments box before sending the funds in case you need that to fight a 'not as described' case.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
