A week ago I linked a local US dollar savings account to my account. I have USD PayPal credits on my account so I hope to withdraw it in US dollars. Unfortunately, the system still converted my USD to my local currency and deducted conversion transaction fees. Five days later, as expected the transfer didn't push through since the US dollar savings account could not accept remittance of non-dollar funds. The transfer was reversed and again deducted another transaction fees.
Is it fair for me to request the original fund that was supposedly withdrawn without the conversion and PayPal transaction fees? Because, unfortunately, they returned an already deducted amount.
