Can I receive payments using personal PayPal account?

Although I have a business account but I don't want to mix payment if I receive any payments for my personal work.

So the question is if I open a personal account will that account will allow me to receive payments for my personal online works?

You can sell and receive payments on a personal account, you only need a business account if you are a registered business / high volume seller or Paypal requests you to upgrade.
