Received a business payment into my Paypal from a UK PayPal account - £250. When I transferred it to my UK bank, PayPal took £7.65 off for "currency conversion". Whaaaaat?? What currency conversion? I am confused! Any thoughts please? TIA.

Hello @screencraft,

Welcome to PayPal Community Forum and thank you for posting here!

I understand that you're worried about the currency conversion. To receive a payment there will be a fee but there will be no charges for bank transfer. Your bank may charge an extra fee if there is any currency conversion involved. If PayPal has charged your account, you should be able to see the details under transaction details of the payment which you have received. Here's the link to know more about the fees.

Good Luck,
Ayesha
